Arlo made his second visit to UNH for finals week at the library on Wednesday. This is probably the setting that is the most satisfying for everyone - Arlo absolutely revels in the attention, the students seem to love and need this type of mental break, and I get so much satisfaction from knowing that John and I are sharing our boy with others who appreciate him. It was a rainy day but our hearts were filled with sun and warmth!

Arlo and I finally made it back to the nursing home yesterday after being out of state for a couple of months. He really seemed so happy to be back there.

I’m also including a pic of him in the elevator, staring at the back wall like he always does. It’s as if someone trained him that this is the way you’re supposed to ride an elevator. Silly boy.😂😂😂

After finalizing 2025 accounting, I am very proud to say that 100% of profits from Arlo’s Friends Brew Dog Treats were donated to worthy non-profit organizations in 2025! This year we did venture outside of the pet welfare space to also donate to one human welfare organization, which was done in honor of a local family.

It’s break time at the hospice house. We haven’t had the opportunity to be volunteer greeters here in a long time and we’ve missed it. Arlo gave comfort to two patients and many family members as well as staff today. Good job, Arlo!

Arlo and I passed our bi-annual therapy dog team evaluation last weekend! This meant getting a full luxury bath and blow-out the day before. Arlo was definitely not a fan but he came out so fluffy and soft that I deemed it worth it, haha. Sorry Arlo. He came home after the test and crashed with a toothy smile on his face afterwards. I just love him so much.❤️
