Happy Tails Alumnus Katy😺 She’s definitely living her best life with these wonderful people. 😊
“My name is Shelbie and my husband and I adopted Katy in October of 2022 and just thought we should send in an update on how she’s been doing since she came home to us.
Katy, now Fig, is perfectly spoiled and my own little best friend. She is a master at finding fresh laundry to lay in and the perfect people watcher. Her favorite thing is laying across our front windows that get the most sun and taking her mandatory afternoon nap on homemade blankets. She’s the silliest creature in the best way possible and an absolute treat fiend so we have a special kitty proofed cabinet to ensure she doesn’t fluff up too much from digging into her snacks unsupervised. The most prominent thing about her is her confidence and just how wonderful of a tiny hostess she can be. Whether it’s a family barbecue or a sit down Christmas feast, Fig is always the first to greet our guests with an assertive hello and tail held high. While updating our kitchen last year, Fig even made sure to check in on our handyman periodically to ensure he didn’t get too lonely on the job, sitting with him and making sure to voice any little thought she may have had on his progress.
She is the best and most important part of our little family and our lives are 1000x better with her in it. I’ve attached some photos of her being her perfect self so you can also see the happy little kitty we’re so lucky to have been entrusted to care for along with her adoption listing photo from 4 years ago. Thank you so much for the opportunity to bring our little Fig Newton home. It wouldn’t be anything close to as happy without her!
Much thanks,
Shelbie
