🎓👏 Graduation Day for Miss Ivy! 🥳🐾

Ivy has officially completed her puppy training program! She has worked hard learning her obedience foundations, building engagement, improving her manners, and developing the skills she needs to be a well-behaved pup.

We are so proud of all the progress she has made and the dedication her family has shown throughout the process!

Claire started training so she could confidently bring Hampton to their beach house and let him enjoy the freedom of running and exploring off leash. Thanks to all the hard work and consistency she put into the training, along with a little guidance from me, that goal is now a reality. Great job Claire and Hampton! 🐾🌊☀️

I love long lines, but they’re meant to be temporary!! (If a trainer tells you otherwise ..run and never look back..) Yes longlines are necessary until your dog understands that recall is not optional. The e-collar is the best way to make that clear and maintain accountability at any distance. One of the biggest reasons I advocate for e-collar training is because off-leash freedom is soooo important for a dog’s fulfillment. Off-leash training is probably the best thing you could ever do for your dog!!

I wanted to share some amazing photos a client sent me today of her dog Papaya living his best off-leash life. Seeing the freedom that training can give to my clients and their dogs is incredibly rewarding and is one of the many reasons why I love what I do. I’m so grateful to have been a part of their journey. 💕🥹👏

I’ve officially launched a GoFundMe to help cover the legal and filing costs required to obtain 501(c)(3) status for Death Row Dogs Sanctuary, as well as essential fundraising materials. If you’re able, please consider donating, sharing, or inviting your friends to support the cause so we can make this vision a reality to help dogs and people in our community.

Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs from the community and at risk situations where their lives or well being are in jeopardy. We also support our community by providing temporary boarding for individuals facing addiction, mental health crises, or other life circumstances that put their dogs at risk of surrender, with reunification always being the goal whenever it is safe and possible.

Funds raised will go directly toward nonprofit formation expenses. Any additional funds will support future fundraising efforts to help sustain this mission. Updates will be shared throughout the process.
