This summer flew by so quickly!
I just made my winter vacation plans and figured it was time to reach out to my clients with an update with my new plan of service!
As I mentioned before, with finally getting paid for caregiving for my mom, I now have 75 hours a week for both her and my dad to fit into my pet sitting schedule.
I haven't been booking for next year because I wasn't sure if I should continue to take week long jobs or not...
And I've decided as difficult as it is to "step back" a bit, it's exactly what my parents and my pets need.
My parents are aging and have many health issues that will not get better and eventually I will have to care for them 24/7.
I have the opportunity to continue my Petsitting and caring for them by scaling back to once daily cat and dog drop in visits, an overnight, and weekend trips.
Our dog Jethro is going to be 14 this year, and I'm amazed every day that he is here because we were sure we were going to lose him last year. I need to be home more to help him and my parents be able to enjoy his remaining time with us.
For the last few years it's been a fight for many people to book dates with me because so many had already been snatched up so far ahead of time. Full weeks gone so people couldn't get me for a night away for a family emergency or a wedding. A quick weekend getaway. Doing weekends and random overnights and daily drop in visits should make it much easier to be available when you need me.
I will still be doing week long jobs for some long time friends, family and clients. Please still reach out for your pet sitting needs and I'll see what we can work out.
But after 10 years, and 16 hour days this summer, your girl needs a slower pace 😂
Thank you for all your continued support,
And hopefully to many more years to come
Peace and love yinz guys!
