We’re incredibly fortunate to have Dr. Sepesy here in the Pittsburgh market as one of our own Internal Medicine specialists. Every day, she makes a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and their families, performing what often feel like miracles through her expertise, compassion, and dedication. ❤️

Dr. Lisa Sepesy! 💙🩺

Dr. Sepesy is a board-certified Internal Medicine specialist who has been part of the BluePearl Pittsburgh North team since 2015. Her clinical interests include endocrine and gastrointestinal diseases, as well as hepatic disorders.

Outside of the hospital, she enjoys traveling, hiking and birding, and each year returns to Ithaca, NY, to swim across Cayuga Lake as part of an annual fundraiser.

And joining her in this photo are two members of her own crew, golden retriever rescues Snicker and Amber! 🐾

Meet Rachel Keller Vaughan, DVM, DACVO, a dedicated leader of our ophthalmology services at our three BluePearl Pittsburgh hospitals for the past 20 years! 👁️✨

Dr. Keller Vaughan chose ophthalmology because it perfectly blends intricate medicine with advanced surgery, allowing her to treat a vast variety of species. As the director of our internship committee and a residency mentor, she enjoys teaching the next generation of veterinarians and believes Pittsburgh is the perfect place to learn due to the wide variety of specialties.

As part of the region's multispecialty hospital system, Dr. Keller Vaughan loves the deeply collaborative culture that BluePearl offers. Especially with ophthalmology routinely working with all specialties within the hospital. She shared, “I am there to help the ophthalmic emergencies from the ER service or work on an in-house consult for neurology because I know that I can lean on them for supporting my patient care when needed. If you love a collaborative environment, you will thrive in Pittsburgh. Many of the clinicians at our hospital have been with us for 10–20 years. We stay here for a reason and it's the fantastic quality of care we can provide our patients."
