R.I.P Dale 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻

Remembering Dale Mitchell

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Dale Mitchell, a true cornerstone of the Pittsburgh Reptile Show. For 36 years, Dale was a dedicated reptile and bug (Feeder) vendor, a familiar and welcoming face to so many in our community. In all those years, he only missed two events—a testament to his passion, commitment, and love for what he did.

Dale wasn’t just a vendor; he was a friend, a mentor, and an irreplaceable part of the reptile world. His presence, knowledge, and humor will be deeply missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. I will really miss his weekly calls to me, stories of his life, those who he met and interacted with along the way, his constant price haggling and joking.

Our thoughts go out to his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. Rest in peace, Dale. You will always be remembered.

We will be doing a small collection for Dale’s Family to help cover funeral expenses, and final costs passed on to them in his passing. See link below or ask us in person at the Next Pittsburgh Reptile Show on April 6th
