Week 4 - warning we are now entering one of the cutest and most important stages of development 🤭

Their little personalities are starting to emerge, they’re becoming steadier on their feet, and they’re beginning to play and interact much more with their littermates and people. Their baby teeth are coming in, curiosity is taking over, and they’re starting to explore beyond the comfort of their pen.

This is also when kittens may begin showing interest in raw food, although nursing from mom is still very important. They’re learning how to groom themselves, use the litter box, wrestle, chase, pounce, and understand boundaries through play with their siblings.

Socialization during this stage is especially valuable. Gentle handling, household sounds, different textures, toys, and positive experiences help build confident, well-adjusted kittens. ❤️
