Meet Tokyo! 🐾

This gorgeous girl came in for her first feline visit and discovered an unfortunate truth: sometimes treats come with strings attached.

After confidently accepting a delicious snack, she was shocked—shocked!—to learn that a vaccination was included in the experience. While the betrayal was real, the treats were apparently too good to boycott.

We're happy to report that Tokyo forgave us just enough to finish her snacks and show off what a brave kitty she is. ❤️

Lexi is a Pittsburg native with a lifelong passion for caring for animals. While her favorite place to be is by the chutes, she loves helping all animals. When she’s not at work, Lexi is usually hanging out with her two pups or tending to the family farm.

🥰 This handsome boy is truly one of a kind. He has vitiligo, a condition that causes a loss of pigment in the hair and sometimes the skin, giving him that striking, one-of-a-kind look.

Vitiligo in dogs occurs when pigment-producing cells (melanocytes) stop functioning, leading to those distinctive patches of lighter or white hair. While it can change a dog’s appearance over time, the good news is that it’s completely cosmetic—there’s no pain, no itching, and it doesn’t affect his quality of life.

Boss wears his uniqueness proudly, and we think it just makes him even more handsome.
