Just a quick note about puppy inquiries ❤️
We are not Marketplace, and our puppies are not sold through “Is this available? Price? Location?” messages. If those are the only questions in your inquiry, I will not respond.
We receive serious inquiries every single day, and there is a tremendous amount of time that goes into answering questions, talking with families, learning what they are looking for, and determining whether one of our puppies is the right fit. I simply cannot spend that time on inquiries from people who are casually shopping multiple breeders or aren't actually ready for a puppy.
Please contact me when you are genuinely ready to move forward.
If you still need to talk to your husband, wife, or family about whether you can get a puppy, please have that conversation before contacting me. If everyone in the household isn't on board yet, you aren't ready to inquire yet and that's perfectly okay.
If you're hoping for a puppy in the winter of 2028, please don't contact me in 2026 asking to be put on a list. Reach out closer to the time you're actually prepared to bring a puppy home.
Our waitlists also work differently than many breeders. I don't maintain a years-long numbered list where someone who contacted me first automatically gets the first puppy. Litters change. Plans change. Families' needs change. Puppies certainly don't read our plans.
I breed with specific goals in mind, evaluate the puppies I actually have in front of me, and match them according to temperament, personality, structure, lifestyle, and what each family is looking for. The right match matters far more to me than who sent the first message two years ago.
And yes, asking about price and location is completely reasonable. But please understand that bringing home a Red Diamond puppy is a significant commitment, both initially and throughout the lifetime of the dog. If your search is primarily based on finding the lowest price, we are probably not the breeder you're looking for.
Tell me about yourself. Tell me what you're looking for in a Labrador. Tell me what kind of life this puppy will have and what made you interested in our dogs specifically.
I'm always happy to spend my time talking with serious families. I just won't spend it answering Marketplace-style inquiries.
A Red Diamond puppy isn't an impulse purchase, and I'm not looking for impulse buyers. ❤️
