📬 He Who Must Not Be Named… but definitely check your email.

We can’t say what it is. We can’t say when it ends. We can’t even hint at what’s swimming around in the fish room right now. 🐟

But if you’re on our email list, you already know. And if you’re not… well, you might want to fix that before the weekend is over. Sign up at our Website (Facebook does not even allow us to post that here anymore either, but you can find the link on our profile page on facebook)

🌿🐠 A Very Special Visit Today! 🐠🌿

We were honored to welcome Dr. Donna Kelly to Cuboid Aquatics today — and what a visit it was!

Dr. Kelly is the Head of the Microbiology Laboratory at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, and she came in to take a thorough look at our quarantine processes, our shipping procedures, and our overall livestock care.

We are always looking for ways to raise the bar on how we care for our fish, shrimp, and plants — and having someone with Dr. Kelly's level of expertise walk through our operation and give us her professional perspective was incredibly valuable.

We are really happy with how the visit went and came away with some great insights on how to keep improving our processes. The health and well being of every animal in our store is something we take very seriously, and visits like this help us make sure we are always getting better. 💚

Thank you Dr. Kelly for your time and expertise! 🙏🌿

🎥 NEW VIDEOS ARE UP — Some of Our Favorite Hygger Gear! 🎥

We've been stocking Hygger for a long time because they consistently deliver — Hygger has built their name on reliable, cost-effective heaters and lights, and these three are staples we recommend to customers all the time. We just got some fresh videos showing them in action, so we wanted to put them front and center again. Check them out below!

✨ HG132 Max Pro Plant Light — This is the one that stops people in their tracks. The COB RGB LED chip throws down a gorgeous shimmering, dappled-light effect on the water surface — something you just don't get with most lights in this price range. Deep pe*******on, wide coverage, and the ideal spectrum for photosynthesis make it a favorite for anyone running a serious planted tank. Fits rimless glass/acrylic up to 0.7" thick, and comes in 60W and 100W. 🌿

🔦 HG033 Nano Clip-On Light — Our go-to recommendation for small tanks. The 360° flexible gooseneck lets you aim the light exactly where your low-to-moderate light plants need it, with 3 lighting modes and 5 brightness levels to dial in the look. Perfect for 0.5–19 gallon setups — bettas, shrimp bowls, nano planted tanks, you name it. Simple, reliable, and priced right. 🐠

🌡️ HG085 Titanium Tube Heater — This is the heater we point people to over and over. Aircraft-grade TA2 titanium construction, Teflon-covered tube, and a digital external controller so you can see and set your exact temp at a glance. IP68 waterproof, ±1°F accuracy, and it remembers your setting even after a power outage. Dependable heat, without the premium price tag. 🔥

Hygger has earned its reputation the hard way — solid performance, fair prices, and gear that just works day in and day out. That's exactly why we keep these three in constant rotation at the shop.
