The Cat Garden Rescue (TCGR) is an all-volunteer, 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose objective is to spay/neuter homeless cats, and place adoptable ones in loving homes. We trap, neuter, and return cats who choose residency at people’s homes, gardens, parks, schools, and on the streets. Our goal is to help our communities in reducing cat population, teach compassion, educate, and offer solution

s to unwanted cat presence in the Richmond, San Pablo, El Sobrante, Rodeo, Hercules and Pinole areas. We are not able to accept owner surrenders as we are a small, non-profit organization without a designated facility.

weeks on the left was rescued because someone called our hot line. On the right Panda 10 weeks old was a bottle baby found though Nextdoor. They are now bonded after 6 weeks together and would like to be adopted together.

Hi there,
My name is Anaconda because I like to nest on your neck. Don’t worry I don’t put pressure like a true serpent. I am about 12 weeks and am recently spayed with all my vaccinations. I love visitors, love to run the hall and do chores with you. I have a lot of energy and go crazy after toys. I am truly affectionate and very gentle with my paws . I am looking for a permanent home with another fairy young kitty. I am located in the East Bay in Pinole. 3 more cats went to Contra Costa Animal Services this morning for spay/neuter. Very grateful for the appts. One of the females called Queen Mama had 4 litters. Connie Schell brought us Buster after trap training on the street beside her car. And the dark Tortie is from Aisa Ta who feeds cats in her yard and has 3 more to TNR. TNR ROCKS!

This is Marvin. He is totally blind. He was rescued from Bart Property where he had lost his way from the colony there. We think because he couldn't see anymore. He has just moved into Lucinda’s new home after living with her and Joe into a small apt. This is just after a few days. He is mapping out the kitchen area he swings his head side to side.

Today Conan, Anaconda and Melody were spayed atJoybound People & Pets. They all are on the adoption path. Conan will go into fostercare with Missy.
The other 2 will stick together as they are both females and only 4 weeks apart. Anaconda, our dark tortie will help Melody coming out of her shell. More on all of them shortly.

Yessssssss! Heidi and Noela were adopted together today in a family with 2 young children. Both were gentle and listened to their mom’s instructions. These 2 sisters were on line for at least 10 weeks. We are so glad that one of the boys picked them and both children wanted them. Glad our new foster Lindsay immediately agreed to meet the family . They were ready and had other kittens to visit. A great outcome today. Lindsay gave the family lots of food and toys. We are so happy!
