I haven't been posting much... just needed a little break after the heart break of losing Reaux's baby a couple weeks ago. God always brings us Rainbows after the storm (no this isnt Reaux) but all 3 of our other cows Greta, Magnolia and Jolene are bred back to Maui for Jan 2027 babies 🥳🥳🥳

Update on Reaux after her loss yesterday. She is doing good today grazing and eating so that makes me feel better.

Please say some prayers for us and for Reaux. This morning she delivered a beautiful red tipped little boy .....💔it looks like the cord was wrapped around his backend and lost blood supply to the umbilical cord...he was premature and already in heaven before he was even delivered.
This is the hard part of farming 😭 they aren't just our livelihood they are our family.

Well, I had all but given up on this girl but her bag has blown up in the past couple of days and she is making some progress again finally..... She is a heifer though...so could be 2 days.....2 weeks or 2 months🙃

Our sweet little old soul "Suede" left for North Dakota saturday and made it to his new home today at Linneman Littles - Miniature Cattle. He got to make the big trip with his brother before they went separate ways in North Dakota. This boy has my heart to and Im sure going to miss his snuggles !!!
