📣 Pet Parent PSA: Wedgewood Pharmacy Voluntary Recall

Wedgewood Pharmacy has announced a voluntary recall of certain compounded veterinary medications due to concerns that they may contain too much or too little of the active ingredient.

Affected medications were shipped between February 18 and October 6, 2026. The recall applies to specific products and lots, so please check your pet’s medication information.

🐾 What should you do?

• Check your medication: Have the container handy and review the affected products, lot numbers, and expiration dates using [Wedgewood’s recall lookup](https://www.wedgewood.com/recall-lookup/).

• If your medication is affected: Wedgewood instructs owners to stop using it, keep the product, and call its recall services at 866-562-5931 for refund or replacement assistance.

• Contact your prescribing veterinarian promptly or a plan to keep your pet’s treatment on track, especially if they depend on daily medication. Do not adjust doses or substitute medications yourself.

If your pet seems unwell or you have concerns about their medication, please contact your veterinarian.

Our White Mountain Animal Hospital clients can reach us at (928) 368-8425. 💚 Please share to help other pet families stay informed!

🐾 A quick reminder for today!

Our hospital will be closed from 12:00–2:00 PM today, Thursday, October 22, while our team takes a little midday pause for a staff meeting that has been planned for a few weeks. We’ll be back at 2:00 PM, ready to see you and your pets! 🐾

We also want to take a moment to say a heartfelt thank you for your understanding yesterday. A medical emergency involving one of our own doctors meant we had to close the clinic early so we could be there for a member of our team.

We know that meant unexpected changes for some of you, and your patience, kind words, and concern meant so much to us during a difficult day. Our team cares deeply about your families, and feeling that care returned is something we don’t take for granted.

Thank you for showing up for us with kindness when we needed it. We’re so grateful to be part of this community. 💚

Due to an unexpected emergency involving one of our doctors, White Mountain Animal Hospital will be closed for the remainder of today.

We sincerely apologize for the short notice and any inconvenience this may cause. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we support our doctor during this time.

If your pet needs urgent medical attention, please contact the nearest open veterinary hospital.

🍂 Ashlynn has been working her magic on our lobby board, and her latest fall creation comes with a reminder for dog owners: keep parasite prevention on the calendar through autumn! 🎨🐾

Credelio Quattro is a once-monthly chewable for dogs that covers fleas, ticks, heartworm disease, roundworms, hookworms, and tapeworms. That’s a lot to remember, so Ashlynn made sure you’d spot the reminder on your way in! 🍁

Take a peek at her work of art next time you visit, and ask our team whether Credelio Quattro is right for your dog. You can also call us at (928) 368-8425.

🚨Calling all White Mountains matchmakers!🐶🐱

We have a few openings at White Mountain Animal Hospital, and we’re hoping our community can help us find the right people to fill them. Our days are busy, our patients keep us on our toes, and there’s always someone on the team ready to lend a hand (or help catch a wiggly puppy or goat?). 💚

Do you know someone with veterinary experience who’d feel right at home here? Maybe a former coworker, a friend who’s been thinking about a change, or someone who’s been looking for a chance to work closer to home. Tag them below or send this their way! We’d love to meet them.

Weekend availability is required. You can see our current openings and apply here: https://www.whitemountainanimal.com/careers/

Thanks for helping us spread the word, White Mountains! 🐾

If you’ve visited us lately, you may have noticed a few extra cobwebs around the office… 👀🕸️

Don’t worry—Christina put them there! Halloween is her favorite holiday, and she always makes sure the clinic is decked out for the occasion. From the little skeletons to the pumpkin lights, she’s been adding a bit of spooky fun for our team and visitors. 🎃🐾

What’s your favorite Halloween decoration? We’d love to hear about it in the comments!

Last week’s Team Member Appreciation Week reminded us how lucky we are to work with this crew. This week, we’re hoping to meet a few more people who belong in it! 🐾💙

We’re hiring at White Mountain Animal Hospital, where a day might include puppy cuddles, a patient with a very strong opinion about nail trims, and teammates who jump in to help when things get busy. With six doctors on our team, there’s plenty to do and plenty of people to learn from.

If you have veterinary experience, can work weekends, and would enjoy being part of a team that works hard and has fun together, take a look at our openings:

Last week we had so much fun celebrating the people who make White Mountain Animal Hospital what it is! 💙🐾

Between spirit week, twin day, team activities, and plenty of laughs, we got to spend a little extra time appreciating the people who show up for our patients and each other every day. Thank you to everyone who left a kind comment about our team, too. We loved sharing those with them! 🥰

And now for the fun part: we’re looking for more people to join our team! With six doctors and a busy hospital full of pets, personalities, and the occasional “How did you get THAT in your mouth?” moment, there’s always something happening around here. 🐶🐱

We’re looking for team members who have veterinary experience, are available to work weekends, and enjoy working alongside people who care deeply about their patients and still know how to have fun together.
