🌹♥️ Sienna Rose is ready to be adopted ♥️🌹

Meet Sienna — The delightfully independent little lady with a tiny circle of trust and a heart that blooms slowly, but genuinely. At approximately 5 years old, this lovely Chinese Crested mix is not looking for the spotlight. She’s looking for understanding, patience, and a peaceful home where she can simply be herself.

Sienna is the kind of dog who quietly tiptoes into your heart. She’s happiest hanging out with her dog friends but also enjoys “me time” doing her own thing. Every now and then she’ll surprise everyone with a playful moment, reminding you there’s a goofy girl tucked beneath that cautious exterior.

Humans? Well… Sienna prefers to take her time. She absolutely adores her foster mom, but she believes relationships should be earned, not rushed. She’s not interested in being picked up, cuddled on the couch, or treated like a living stuffed animal. In fact, Sienna would very much like to file an official complaint against unwanted snuggles.

What does she love? Her kennel. Seriously — it’s her happy place. She trots right in like it’s her own little studio apartment. She is potty-trained and keeps a very respectable routine. While she is unable to go for extended walks, she likely wouldn’t object to chariot rides in a stroller. Sienna is perfectly content living her cozy, low-key lifestyle surrounded by canine companions and kind humans who respect her boundaries.

Sienna is searching for a special adopter who understands that love doesn’t always look like constant cuddles and tail-wagging greetings. Sometimes love looks like a shy little dog choosing to sit nearby. Sometimes it’s quiet trust. Sometimes it’s simply sharing space together peacefully.

🎉🎉 Happy Adoption Update 🎉🎉

When I first met Shelby, she was being housed outdoors in a metal kennel on a cold morning. Poor pup was shaking like a leaf, hiding in the back corner. She was flagged as being a bite risk and was being handled minimally at the shelter. Thankfully a previous adopter took a leap of faith and agreed to foster-to-adopt her. Shelby immediately transformed into the sweet, sensitive and endearing pup we knew she had the potential to be. She now spends her days lounging on patio furniture on warm and sunny days. Congratulations to Shelby and her amazing family! ♥️♥️♥️

☀️ Sacramento SPCA Doggy Dash HIGHLIGHTS ☀️

Amazing day with volunteers, adopters and friends while walking and strolling with thousands of dog lovers from all over the region. Added bonus when a foster mom is reunited with her former foster dog and seeing them thrive with their forever humans…PRICELESS. 🤗♥️

Fun was had by all and already looking forward to next year’s event!

Meet Raven – Your Pocket-Sized Ray of Sunshine ☀️🐾

Don’t let the small size fool you—this little one has a BIG personality and an even bigger heart. Raven is the perfect mix of snuggly couch companion and curious backyard explorer.

At home, you’ll usually find her curled up in the tiniest, coziest ball (bonus points if it’s on a soft pillow or blanket). But step outside, and suddenly she's serving confident, “I run this patio” energy—ears up, soaking in the sunshine like she's got important neighborhood business to oversee.

• Sweet, gentle, and loves to be near her person

• Equal parts cuddle bug and sunshine seeker

• Observant little soul—takes it all in before jumping in

• Low-to-medium energy with adorable bursts of zoomies. Loves to race across the couch and dive under a pillow.

Raven would thrive in a home that appreciates both quiet cuddle time and a little outdoor lounging. She'd do great with someone (preferably a woman or gentle man) who enjoys having a loyal sidekick for coffee on the patio, evening wind-downs, and everything in between. Raven can be a little unsure around men at first—when she’s feeling scared or overwhelmed, she may bark and lunge as a way to protect herself. With patience, slow introductions, and a calm approach, she can warm up and show her sweet side.
