Tonight the handlers stayed at the start line while sending their dogs out to search. Single hides were placed at specific distances from the start line getting further away each round. Searches were timed. The dogs were searching independently and the handlers didn’t get to go in until the dog alerted. As usual they did a fabulous job!!

We started with vehicles this morning while they were still in the shade. Then took advantage of more shade near the rec center. Very interesting to watch a hide near a door, we could feel the A/C when we put our hand near the hide. It was more difficult for them to find but they worked hard and found it. It was also converging with another hide in close proximity.
