Cloudy sky’s and breaks between rain showers are some of my favorite times to put more seeds in the dirt. The sun cannot beat me up with this cloud cover. 🙌

I had to sleep on few yesterday to make some final decisions. Some Wowed me unexpectedly and some pulled at my heartstrings.

I didn’t expect to even give this guy much of a look. He was effortless to pose as to say “You better look at me!”….and the cherry on top he is part of the BEW Rex project. This is progress! Just wait till you see his sister!

Cull Ruthlessly…

The words feel harsh.

But, at the end of the day, no matter what you are working towards, cull ruthlessly. This goes beyond just a breeding program. Your success is only as great at what you allow it to be, even the people you allow in. Cull mindsets that don’t serve you, cull negativity, cull bad habits, cull unhealthy stress & relationships, cull things that kill your joy, cull poor stock, and cull those that do not support your growth.

Build a barn full of joy & beauty, surround yourself with those that empower you, the people that support your success, let go of ego & entitlement, teach kindness, always keep learning, and don’t ever allow others to dull your fire🔥 Do what is right, not what is easy, and the rest will fall into place.

The Fall cull down has begun. New chapter awaits.

Our Summer break is over Florida. We are moving from hot season crops and into warm weather ones. The Autumn equinox is just three weeks away!

Those tomatoes, eggplants, and peppers we started under cover well they will be uppotted and soon to hit the soil. Chard, heat tolerant carrots, and a few others will hit the dirt this week as well. The rest of the brassicas will be started under shade cover to be ready to hit the dirt in October!

Let’s the fun planty shenanigans begin!
