A few funs days mountain grouse hunting with Steve Lund and Rhys Haugen. Steve and Dave limited the first day. Great bird work from Hans, Tui (14th hunting season...she did awesome) and Cora. First ruffed grouse for Steve and Rhys.

What a great training day in Casper WY. Thanks to Linda and Rod Jugler for hosting the event and sharing their expertise in all things blood tracking (2 UBT and 8+ VGP) and versatile dog training. They are both a wealth of knowledge. And thanks to everyone that attended, also a wealth of knowledge and a lot of fun to hang out with. Our focus was on blood tracking and learning to read your dog. But we were also able to do a few duck drags, fox in the box, and work on pointing and steadiness. So proud of Barra (Barramundi von den Windriver-Bergen KlM), Dave and Zander (Kim vom Heuerhaus DD) and all the other dogs and handlers. A great weekend.😁😁

Another awesome hunting trip with our four legged friends

Weeks have past since the Lönssuche event which was held at Des Plaines Wildlife Area outside Wilmington Illinois. It was a great event, more than I expected. A huge congratulations to all the KlM-GNA dogs that participated in the Breed Show and HZP. A couple von den Windriver-Bergen A litter puppies did awesome...Congratulations to Chris Marsh and Mike Scott. Their dogs scored 4th and 5th out of 19 dogs. It was great to meet so many of the German handlers, breeders, and judges (performance and conformation judges)!

Mission accomplished on first day in ND...Barra pointed wild birds and I got a limit on pheasant.

Barra (Barramundi von den Windriver-Bergen) was amazing on his points..multiple pheasants and a covey of huns. He was solid. My shooting, not so much on the huns. Attached are some photos of his points on chukar at Des Plaines Wildlife Area. Proud of the little man. And Lota (Foxi vom Gusseisen) was excellent yesterday in ND also.
