Bunny and Morticia (Morty) enjoying outside time at their foster's home.

Both pups would do great in a home together if someone wanted two pups to join their family.
Bunny is suspected to be a 4yr old Maremma Sheepdog and Morticia is a 7 month old suspected black lab mix.

Both pups are cat friendly, and great with kids. Morty is good with all dogs while Bunny likes male dogs/puppies and isn't a big fan of other bigger female dogs.

Lab Lovers Unite!

Jamie is looking for his forever home! This sweet 4 month suspected lab/catahoula leopard dog is a loveable, energetic puppy who is looking for a family to enjoy life with. He has done great with other dogs and has enjoyed pet/playtime with kids. We are unsure of cats at this time, since he hasn't been introduced yet to any.

Over $7,000 in Veterinary Expenses This Month but the Animals Still Need Us!

We could use your help.

This week, we welcomed Lainey into our rescue after she was found as a stray. She is currently being treated for sarcoptic mange and remains in quarantine while she recovers. While we are hopeful for her future, her care is just one of many unexpected medical expenses we have faced recently.

This month alone, Paws of the Pines Rescue has spent more than $7,000 on veterinary care. Between emergency medical cases, routine veterinary needs, and ongoing treatments, the bills have added up quickly.

We currently have puppies growing in foster care, a momma dog preparing to give birth, Lainey receiving treatment for mange, several upcoming spay and neuter appointments, and we know there will be more animals in need that have not crossed our path yet.

Every donation, no matter the amount, helps us continue saying “yes” to animals who need help. Your support allows us to provide medical care, safe shelter, nutritious food, and a chance at a better life for local animals who have nowhere else to turn.

10 pups in our care need immediate foster takeovers!

We need legitimate commitments please!

We are experiencing an increase of new foster offers who then back out within 72hrs of starting.

We are foster based. This puts us in a bind.

It’s not fair to the animals, and this adds an unnecessary layer of stress on our team.

These are rescue dogs.
We don’t know their breed.
There’s a likelihood of potential indoor accidents while they adjust to your schedule.
Puppies poop..A LOT.
They’ve been around other dogs.
Most are good with cats.

Dogs need decompression time. You don’t typically see their actual personality for a while after getting them.

If you can commit and follow through for at least a month, two preferably, please reach out to us!

We provide vetting, supplies, and plenty of events for the pups to be seen. We just need them to have a safe, warm, and friendly place to land while we search for the right forever family for them.

At this time, we cannot take on another adult dog over 25lbs. However, we are sharing in hopes maybe someone out there is looking for a pup like Zara!

We’ve met her. Shes super sweet. Lots of energy. Would be excellent for someone that wants an active pup. She’s been adopted twice, and returned twice, because her energy level was too much for them..

Meet Tango 🕺

Tango is the kind of dog who makes life feel easy.

This almost 4-year-old mixed breed boy is around 55 pounds, neutered, and truly one of the sweetest dogs you could ask for. He’s fantastic with cats, dogs, and kids and has an incredibly friendly, easygoing personality.

Tango absolutely LOVES water. If there’s a pond, creek, hose, kiddie pool, or muddy puddle nearby, he’s probably already in it. He would thrive in a home with some land where he can run, explore, and enjoy life to the fullest.

He’s affectionate, social, and happiest just being included in whatever his people are doing. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a gentle heart and adventurous spirit, Tango is ready to be your guy.
