RideAbility hosted a special Annual Meeting, our 30th year, on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at the Best Western Apache in Rochester, MN. It was a great day with inspiring speakers, awards and recognitions, a silent auction, a photo history of "Horses Through the Years", a release of a new edition RideAbility T-Shirt/Sweatshirt, and a tasty Buffet Lunch.
*** The speakers described their experiences in how RideAbility had improved their lives by riding horses, making friends, and giving back to RideAbility and the community. We had some great fun with a live auction for several packages of RideAbility's famous brownies, a special request for everyone to participate in a session of "The Chicken Dance", and A "Heads or Tails" contest as a fundraiser.
*** The Silent Auction offered a wide variety of some wonderful items and the lucky winners left with some great treasures as well as helping the RideAbility programs.
*** The photo history of "Horses Through the Years" brought back great memories of all the clients, volunteers, and horses that have been part of the program.
*** A HUGE thanks to all the people who worked to plan, prepare and deliver such a wonderful event and create new memories while the group makes plans for the future!

Yesterday we gathered together for RideAbility’s Annual Luncheon & Silent Auction as we celebrated going on 30 years of service, horses, healing, and community.
From the laughter around the tables to the stories shared through the years, the afternoon was a beautiful reminder of how many lives RideAbility has touched and how many people have helped make it possible along the way.
Thank you to everyone who attended, donated, volunteered, sponsored tables, bid in the silent auction, and continues to believe in RideAbility’s mission. Your kindness and support help create a place where riders, families, volunteers, and horses come together in a space filled with encouragement, compassion, and belonging.
What a wonderful way to celebrate the heart of RideAbility and the amazing community that has carried this program forward for nearly 30 years.

Last week RideAbility received support from a network of companies: Rochester Pet and Country Store, Purina Mills and Land O'Lakes were all involved in a $1000 grant for RideAbility to receive (much needed) winter grain.

Abby Zmolek made this happen! She is a wonderful Purina representative and she is much appreciated by RideAbility. Thank you Abby!

When our community comes together like this great things happen! Thank you all!
