Mars has recalled a variety of Pedigree dog food.

Bricks have arrived and have been installed! Thank you to everyone who purchased a brick 100% of proceeds is used to help the homeless pets at the Montville Animal Shelter New Jersey

It’s Fido Friday!
Congratulations to Rufus who has graduated from training at Garden State K9! Rufus has learned heel, sit, down, come and Climb (go on the bed and stay)! Rufus will continue training with the shelter staff and volunteers.
Bonus the adopter gets a free session at Garden State k9 to help with his transition into his forever home!

Rufus is a very friendly boy, loves people and enjoys attention. He is playful and can be a bit goofy.

If interested in meeting Rufus, please submit an application, if it’s approved we will set up a meet and greet. No walk in meetings please. We do not adopt out of state so NJ, residents only please. Check out our new online application:

It’s Animal Control Officer Appreciation Week, and we want to give a heartfelt THANK YOU to the incredible animal control officers who serve our shelter and community every day.

The compassion, dedication, and tireless efforts of these two women make a difference in the lives of so many animals in need. From rescuing those in difficult situations, helping to find resources for community members, to helping to keep our community safe and finding homes for the hundreds that come through the Montville Animal Shelter Doors.
