We had one of the Hawk X Wryndy puppy owners Ken with his little girl Mabel join us for training this weekend, so we took advantage of the spare hands and had him toss the birds and fire the shots as we took the pups through their introduction to the gun. Always nice to have spare hands, Thanks Ken! Mabel is going to stay with us for a bit to continue her training along with the rest of crew. All the pups did great and are officially ready to get to the field this coming week.

Storm, the little water dog. If you turn the garden hose on she's in the middle of it. Took her to the pond this morning, no fear at all. Not bad for a 12 week old puppy. Sonda videoed that she'll post it on our YouTube channel later.

A new project. She came in yesterday for the summer. Enrolled in our puppy program. Crate training, house training, birds, field work etc. Little Storm just turned 10 weeks

It's that time of year again. Hair cuts for everyone. Rogue and Hawk got an all over hair cut as they both have heavy coats. Everyone one else got their feet trimmed up as well a their ears. I was surprised how much stuff there was between their toes. Cleaned out now tho

Maverick finally found his for ever home. This gentleman enjoys hunting as well as his two sons and grandson. Maverick will have an awesome life. Sonda and I are extremely picky about placing our dogs. Clyde checked all the boxes. He plans on coming back this fall for a couple of days and hunting. So we'll be seeing Mav again in the near future.

Thank you Saige, it is always great to get updates from our pup families. Little Birdy is from the last litter, living a pretty sweet puppy life from the sounds of it.

Day seven on the table with little Kenzie. First five days is conditioning hold on the stationary table and then learn to move up and down the table with no pressure.
The last two days have been working on how to shut pressure off. Half way thru today's session you could see she just figured out how to shut the pressure off. She's still a ways out from being finished but we're heading in the right direction. Kenzie is extremely soft which is a complete opposite of Riot. Having two different personalities on the table would be a challenge for a novice.

Riot started her table work as well. She has already been on the table last spring to work on hold. Seems like she didn't forget anything. We'll work on this for a couple of days before starting her force training.
I've have been doing this long enough i have a pretty good feeling how this is going to go with her. She should breeze right the this.
