Have you ever stopped and really looked at your horseโ€™s coat?

A horseโ€™s coat can tell you a lot about what may be going on - on the inside. Nutrition, stress, overall health and well-being, parasites, ulcers, and other factors can all have an effect on what you see on the outside.

Itโ€™s one of those things we pay close attention to in our horses. A healthy, shiny coat is always something weโ€™re happy to see.

Sam knew where he belonged before Christy did. โค๏ธ

Ten years ago, while Christy was working for Brian Bell, when he was based out of Cardinal Ranch, Sam showed up at the ranch after a thunderstorm. He had run away from his owners and somehow decided Christy was his person.
Christy tracked down his owners, who told her Sam had already run away a couple of times. They told her if she wanted him, she could keep him.

And heโ€™s been following her ever since.
Through every job, every move, and every place Christy has called home, Sam has been right there. He comes to work with Christy every day and is rarely far from her side.

โ€œHeโ€™s always somewhere in the corner of my eye. Heโ€™s happy just being with me and going to work every day. Sometimes I think Sam runs the business and Iโ€™m just here.โ€ ๐Ÿ˜„

Sam has been such a big part of Christyโ€™s life and her program for the last 10 years, we figured it was about time he got his own spotlight. โค๏ธ

We had a fun week at the 100X Brazos Slide! It was great spending time with this group of ladies and watching their hard work pay off.

๐Ÿฅ‡Congratulations to Debbie Conway & Midsummer Spook ("Barnaby") on earning the Prime Time Non Pro Circuit Championship!

Sandy Kappus & Crystal continue to improve with every run, and it was exciting to see the progress they're making in the stops.

We were also excited to welcome Linda Yokall from Australia. Linda joined us for the show and had a great time competing aboard a leased horse.
