Creating a successful partnership isnโt just about the days spent riding and training.
Horses know the difference between the people who genuinely care for them and the ones just trying to get the job done. Itโs all the little things, the quiet moments, leading them out to graze on the grass, turning them out, bonding on trail rides, grooming, braiding, patience, and daily care that build a willing partner that wants to work with a person.
And thereโs something really beautiful about the moment the connection starts to click. When the trust builds, the communication gets softer, and things start coming together naturally.
I love being the person that gets to teach kids coming into this industry that the best horsemen and horsewomen arenโt just the best riders. Theyโre the people who truly care for their horses every step of the way.
