Happy Thursday!

I have a family that has a three month old AKC chocolate male Labrador puppy. He is one week away from his final vaccination. The mother had neck surgery and can no longer care for this sweet boy. He is looking for a new forever home. His parents have all 27 of the health clearances.

Duke is a one year old Black AKC Labrador. He is 100% cleared on all 22 of the DNA tests for Labradors. He is neutered, potty trained and looking for a new home. He is high energy and needs a strong leader. He is in Fair Oaks.

I am so in love with this litter of chocolate Labrador puppies!!!! They are so sweet!!!! They are cleared for all 27 health tests! I cannot express how happy I am to have recovered from our fire and to be back training and breeding Labradors again! This is our last litter till spring of next year.

**UPDATE** Rubi found a wonderful family!

Rubi has the best spirit and has the biggest heart. She loves everyone she has met, and gets along with other animals. She is house trained, knows basic commands and does well on a leash for her walks. She also does great off of the leash and listens to commands. She is UTD on vaccines and has been on NuJoint Plus since she was a puppy. She does like to chew if bored, but otherwise is the perfect dog. She comes with kennel, toys, food, and pool. She is 6 months old.

He is an one year old chocolate male looking for forever home. He is completely house broke, very happy and loves all dogs and people. He is cleared of all 22 DNA tests for Labradors.

Hello Houston Lab family and friends!!!!

I’m so happy to announce that we have moved into a beautiful home close to Folsom Ca that has ten acres with an in ground pool, creek and a pond for our dogs! It has been a trying few months since the fire but we are all happy and healthy!!!! We are back to a normal life and enjoying our family, cats, dogs and puppies!!!

We have also decided to start a YouTube channel to share cute videos of our family, dogs, cats and puppies. We will also be adding training videos to help you make your dogs and puppies the best dogs they can be. We are so excited for this new chapter in our lives and can’t wait to see what the future holds.

Thank you so much for all the love and support you have given us all of these years and we look forward to many wonderful years in the future!!!

Good morning!

We are looking for families that want to be guardians families for our puppies. You will get our pick of the litter on our most amazing dogs. You must live within 90 minutes of Folsom and be willing to bring the dog back to us for visits. Please contact us for more details.

A guardian home is a family that receives a top quality breeding puppy to become a member of their family. At eight weeks of age, a top-quality puppy will be sent home to an approved guardian family. There is a $1,000 deposit required. In exchange, the family agrees to follow the conditions as written in our Guardian Home Contract while it is in our breeding program. When the dog is retired from breeding, the deposit will be returned and the dog would be spayed/neutered and full AKC Registration and ownership is transferred to the Guardian family. The dog remains with its family to continue his/her life with them.
A dog in the guardian program would come to us once a year for the litter. The dog comes to us for one week for breeding. Then goes back home for two months and comes back to us for the delivery and raising of the puppies. Once the puppies are ready to go home the dog can go back home as well. We pay for all of the health testing and whelping expenses. The family pays for all the normal care they would have with owning a dog.

Some Things Required of a Guardian Home
✦ Live within reasonable driving distance of Folsom, California.
✦ Have a fully secured fenced yard.
✦ Feed only quality food recommended by Houston Labradors.
✦ Have no other intact dogs of the opposite s*x in the home.
✦ Provide socialization and basic obedience at home or from obedience classes
✦ Have a willingness to return the dog to us during breeding and whelping at the necessary timing.
✦ Frequent photo’s and updates of the dog to keep our website up to date.

✦ You will receive a top quality AKC Labrador Retriever puppy.
✦ You will receive lifetime breeder support to answer any questions or concerns.
✦ You will receive a top quality dog for a deposit that will be refunded.
✦ All of the health testing will be paid for by Houston Labradors so you will know your dog will be healthy for many years to come.
✦ We preform over 25 health tests to ensure the puppy has the best health possible.
✦ You will receive a dog that has had personality testing to ensure the dog will be easy to train, intelligent and mellow.
✦ If you decide to be a guardian family again any future puppies will not require a deposit.
✦ If you adopt a puppy from us in the future that will not be a part of our guardian program you will get a puppy for free.

Each dog is individually assessed after each litter. All of our Guardian Dogs will have at least one litter between the age of eighteen months and three years, with a maximum of four litters or six years of age. After the first litter, the Guardian family and Houston Labradors will discuss the option of future litters based on the quality of puppies produced in the first litter.

The choice of a Guardian Family is entirely the decision of Houston Labradors and will be determined after discussion and an interview.
