Happy Tuesday Everyone! 💙

💡 Did You Know?

Dogs are incredibly good at hiding pain. What many pet parents think is simply “getting older” could actually be a sign that their dog is hurting.

Pain can be:
🩹 Acute – caused by an injury, surgery, or sudden illness.
🦴 Chronic – ongoing pain, such as arthritis, that can affect your dog’s comfort and quality of life over time. Chronic pain isn’t just an “old dog problem” it can affect dogs of all ages and breeds.

Watch for signs like:
🐶 Limping or stiffness
🐶 Trouble getting up after resting
🐶 Hesitating to jump or climb stairs
🐶 Sleeping more or becoming less active
🐶 Changes in mood or behavior

If your dog just doesn’t seem like themselves, trust your instincts. Early detection and proper pain management can make a world of difference.

Give us a call today at 606.262.4553 to schedule an exam. We’d love to help your best friend get back to living their happiest, most comfortable life!

A healthy pet starts with routine care, and we’re honored to be part of your pet’s journey. 🐶🐱🐰🐢🦎
