IT’S DRESSSSSSS TIIIIIIIIIIME!!!!! 👗

It’s almost time for HOMECOMING and we have several new and gently used short dresses that are available for FREE to area students. And GUYS… we also have some great-looking menswear available, too!

These are available at NO charge because of our community’s generous donations. Speaking of donations… SEND THOSE DRESSES OUR WAY! We are happy to have them!

Remember Trooper, sweetest little rescue pup ever? Well, his journey was full of highs and lows and progress and regress and all the emotions our hearts could take, BUT we are overjoyed to report that he is doing great! He had a major hip surgery and did unfortunately have to have his front left leg amputated due to the severity of his fractures, but he doesn’t really know he is three-legged, so nobody tell him!

Big shout out to all who checked on him, gave money toward his care, stopped by just to love on him, brought him treats and toys, and prayed for him. And a huge thanks to Dr Joey Collins who was willing to do Trooper’s amputation and even found funding to cover the cost! His AMAZING foster family has fallen in LOVE, and has offered to give him a furever home with their family. 🥺 It truly has been a team effort, but what a huge reward to see him living his absolute BEST life, filled with SO much love ❤️

Thank you ALL— your kindness and generosity have changed this pup’s whole world. And he truly is THE BESTEST BOY 🥰

UPDATE!!!

So many of you have been so kind to check in on our rescue dog who came into our lives Tuesday. His condition was very touch-and-go and the extent of his injuries was great, but we are THRILLED to report that he is doing well! 🙌🏼

He has a severely fractured humerus and a luxated hip that will need surgical repair down the road, but the rest is healing great and he is getting stronger each day.

He WAS a dog in critical condition with several orthopedic and internal injuries, a dog who was starved and majorly parasitized, a dog who apparently roamed an extremely busy road on the regular.

He IS NOW a survivor with a very full belly and heart. He knows what a bed is. He knows what belly rubs are. Maybe he knows what a meatball sub is, too 🤷🏻‍♀️ 😬. He knows what it is like to NOT be covered in countless blood-sucking parasites now. He knows what it is to be loved and to be told over and over that he is THE very best boy. ❤️

He is learning his new name, and it is Trooper. 💙He definitely IS a trooper and his life was saved because one kind KSP trooper stopped to intervene. You know what… there are truly some good people in the world. And they make a big difference.

He has a long road ahead of him, but I couldn’t ask for anything more from him the last few days. Many have asked how you can help. We are happy to accept donations toward his care because it will be ongoing for a while. We may have to ask another clinic to do his hip surgery and it’s possible the front leg will need surgery as well if the splinting doesn’t correct it. Trooper also said to let you all know that he is accepting donations of toys and treats and belly rubs and meatball subs (disclaimer, don’t feed your dog meatball subs 😅).

Thank you all for your prayers and support. His “happily ever after” is in the making ❤️
