🎃🐾 HALLOWEEN PET SAFETY TIPS! 🐾👻

Halloween can be spooky fun for us, but some of our pets may find the costumes, decorations, and trick-or-treaters a little frightening! Keep these tips in mind to help your dogs and cats have a safe and stress-free Halloween:

🍫 Keep candy out of reach — Chocolate, xylitol, and other candy ingredients can be dangerous for pets.

🎃 Watch the decorations — Keep candles, glow sticks, electrical cords, and small decorations away from curious paws.

👻 Be careful with costumes — If your pet enjoys dressing up, make sure the costume fits comfortably and doesn’t restrict breathing, movement, vision, or hearing.

🚪 Prevent door-dashing — With the door constantly opening for trick-or-treaters, keep pets safely inside and away from the entryway.

🐱 Give cats a quiet space — A calm room away from the door can help reduce stress from the extra noise and activity.

🐶 Skip the scary stuff — Masks and costumes that frighten your pet can cause anxiety. Let them enjoy Halloween their own way!

🆔 Make sure ID is current — Double-check your pet’s collar tags and microchip information before the festivities begin.

🧡 And remember: Not every pet wants to participate in the Halloween fun. Sometimes the best celebration is a cozy bed, some treats, and a quiet night at home! 🐾
