My winter and spring clinics are all done. Now to take a break and ride my horses and enjoy my weekends with family.

I do have some availability for a couple of clinics this fall. I have a lot of open weekends in September and October. If we schedule October though, we probably should have access to an indoor as the weather gets unpredictable.

This young one is deathly afraid of Segway’s, so I found a couple of “Segway trainers” to help me desensitize 😆.

These things are at about every show and rodeo, so Winnie has to get used to them!

Bloomingdale Clinic ended up being great day!

We had a great clinic at Marie Bova’s place today.

We focused on the foundational work in barrels that helps keep our horses moving theoughout the turn, bending in the rib cage and engaging the hip. In the afternoon we worked a couple of pole drills to sharpen our pole runs. Then finished up with barrels working through dropped shoulders and how to correct that issue.

I appreciate this group who had a great attitude and came armed with lots of questions. They put in some great work and I hope I made their barrel racing a bit more fun this summer!

Clinic update for this weekend…

Everything is still a go. We have been watching the weather very closely. At this point it’s supposed to rain over night Friday and early Saturday morning….But turn nice during the day.

It’s been pretty dry, so some rain would actually be nice and make the arena nice.

We are just hoping for the right amount of rain 🙏.

Worst case scenario, we could start a little later. If that happens, we will let you know.

One more clinic this weekend.

Then I look forward to riding my own horses. I have two 4 year olds (love that age) and a 2 year old to work with this summer. I also look forward to spending time together as a family ❤️.

With this beautiful weather, summertime is finally here!
