We “warmly” welcome two fillies both out of our great North Ridge Ranch mare RVS Goldie Oak. One foal is by High Brow Cat and is with her recipient mare in Weatherford Texas. The other filly is by NRR Cat King Cole and is at the ranch in South Dakota with her natural dam.

They were born two days apart last week but one was greeted with minus 20 and the other a still chilly plus 40.

The 2021 NCHA Futurity Open is now in the history books. We congratulate Janie Wood ridden by John Mitchell and Tagging ridden by Cara Brewer as Champion and Reserve, respectively.

Great job showcasing our sport to the world with a very strong set of horses. We are especially grateful to the owners and trainers of the three NRR finalists for your support.

As the 2021 Futurity winds down tonight in Fort Worth, we wish all competitors and owners continued good luck and safe travels.

We especially thank those who rode horses bred to NRR Cat King Cole and our North Ridge Ranch mares. You are an outstanding group that make us proud to be your partners in this great sport.

529 Open entries were narrowed down to just 82 outstanding horses in last nights exciting semi- finals. All three NRR advanced to the Open Finals tonight.
