This is a question I hear frequently. My answer is simple: I’ve seen the alternatives.

Having been on both sides of the stethoscope—as a doctor and a pet owner—I know that a peaceful passing at home is a final act of love. Death is a very vulnerable time, and being able to make that moment a little less heavy for pets and their families is a gift. That purpose is exactly what drives me.
