🐾 MEET APACHE — 77 POUNDS OF GOOFY GOOD BOY!

Apache is 3 years old, dog friendly, heartworm negative and one big baby. ❤️

He knows sit, LOVES playing fetch and is always ready for some attention. Apache is a big, strong boy who can get a little enthusiastic on leash, so he’ll benefit from someone willing to keep working on his leash manners.

Mostly, though, he’s just a sweet, playful guy looking for someone to throw the ball, give him belly rubs and call him their best friend. 🎾

🏈 SEPT. 12 | Homecoming Adoption Event
12–3 p.m. at Liberty Athletic Complex
Come meet adoptable dogs and help us find some new teammates!

🎃 OCT. 31 | Howl-O-Ween at the Shelter
12–2 p.m.
Trick-or-treat, fall fun, vendors, community partners and more!

🚗 NOV. 14 | Cruise-N for Christmas
10 a.m.–4 p.m. in downtown Pickens
Hosted by Hawks Motorsports with a car show, food, music and more. Pickens County Animal Shelter is one of the benefiting organizations!

🎄 DEC. 5 | Mistletoe & Mutts Holiday Market
12–3 p.m.
Shopping, food, activities, adoptable pets and plenty of holiday fun!

CRUISE-N FOR CHRISTMAS IS BACK AND WE’RE ADDING SOMETHING NEW!
Hawks Motorsports is bringing you a full day of holiday fun in Pickens, SC, and this year we’re excited to introduce our first annual soap box derby partnering with Pickens Police Department!
Location: Main Street, Pickens, SC 29671
Date: Saturday, November 14th, 2026
Time: 10AM – 2PM
Entry: A new unwrapped toy, canned food, pet supplies, or a $15 donation
Not only will we be collecting toys for Country Santa, but also food for United Christian Ministries, and Pet food/Supplies for the Pickens County Animal Shelter.
ALL VEHICLES WELCOME!
Come out and join us for our Annual Cruise-N for Christmas! Bring your car or just come to spectate and enjoy the fun.

EVERYONE’S BESTIE 🐾 adoption fee is waived — just bring a leash!

Andi has absolutely mastered the art of manipulation. 😂 Walk past her kennel and she’ll hit you with those big puppy-dog eyes like she’s the saddest girl alive.

Open the door? 100 MPH. LET’S GO!

Andi is 2 years old, 50 pounds and LOVES to play. Big dogs, small dogs — she’s just happy to have a friend!

But here’s the best part: Andi has an off switch. When she’s not running or playing, she can spend all day in our playroom quietly entertaining herself. She naps on the couch, enjoys chew sticks, finds toys to play with, doesn’t tear anything up and has had no accidents.

🐕 Outside: GO GO GO!
🛋️ Inside: Couch potato.

Andi is spayed, heartworm negative and dog friendly. Her adoption fee is waived — just bring a leash!

Can’t adopt? Andi would LOVE an Adventure Buddy play date! Take her out for an adventure and give her a day away from the shelter.
