Picayune Blueberry Farm

Picayune Blueberry Farm 69 Homer Spiers Rd in Picayune. Picayune Blueberry Farm, Picayune, Mississippi
We started the farm in 1987 on one acre and fell in love with the berries.

We have 55 acres now with a few sheep, cattle and 13 acres of blueberries and have planted some blackberries this year to see how they will do. We have opened the farm for people to come and pick their own berries and have a good time swapping stories. Our aim is to grow the best berries we can and provide an interesting and enjoyable experience for kids and adults.

Good morning. Today's spotlight is on one of our biggest and most enthusiastic fans. She comes out rain or shine and will "swim" to bushes if she must just to pick berries 😉. She loves the farm and we love her.😘

If you are coming out to pick berries in the heat and humidity, make sure you apply sunscreen, have a sun hat, wear light weight clothing, bring a sweat rag, and drink plenty of water. You can also bring a personal umbrella. We have golf carts that our employees use to take you to and from the field. Please take plenty of breaks. We have a greenhouse that you can come in and cool off and have waters available there as well. Picking in the afternoon starts at 4 pm today and goes until 6 or until we no longer have pickers in the field.
