Newsletters, Adoptions and Foster applications ... OH MY !
Paperwork is part of life... but we want to make sure you stay informed and in touch with us .
Did you know that at any given time the perfect Doberman for you has not even made it to DVDPA yet ?
We get calls every week about Dobermans that need to be pulled from Shelters or homes that can no longer keep them due to all different circumstances..
That is why it is so important to get an application in our data base before you see a potential new best friend posted on Facebook.
Buy filling out an application on our website www.dvdpa.org, you get a leg up so to speak. Our adoption coordinator can screen your application, get your virtual home visit done, check your references and you are already in the home stretch. The perfect Doberman for you may not be with us yet, but when they do arrive we already have your paperwork, so once you reach out and express interest in one you may see on line we can move on it.
**** If you are interested in becoming Foster, the process is pretty much the same as adoption , fill out the Foster application on the website and one of our Foster coordinators with contact you. ***
Just a few key points :
1. For the moment we can only accept applications done on a computer, as there seems to be a glitch when using a phone ( we are gonna try to work on that )

2. Once you submit your application you will receive an Email from us ( usually 2-3 days afer your application is submitted ) PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM, especially if this your first time communicating with us via Email. If you submit an application and do not hear back from us in 4-5 days please CALL us ! We will be more than happy to check on it for you.

3. Please be sure to Submit your home visit pictures / videos

4. Please keep in mind, we are All volunteers, so we do the best we can at addressing things in a timely manner. Please be patient and never be afraid to reach out to us via email or phone.

5. We also have a DVDPA Newsletter that Robyn sends out via email, so if you would like to be put on our email list send your email address to [email protected] and put DVDPA newsletter in the subject line. Robyn will get you added in so you can keep up on all the latest news, events and fundraisers.
Thank you so much for all your support, The road home begins with you !
Sincerely,
Sharon and the Volunteers at DVDPA

🚨 URGENT — SARAH NEEDS A FOSTER BY 10/15 🚨

Sarah made the long journey from California and is currently safe in West Virginia, but her temporary landing spot is running out of time.

She needs a committed foster home by October 15. 🏡❤️

Sarah is estimated to be around 3 years old and has already been through so much transition. What she needs now is stability, patience, love — and a home where she can finally unpack her bags for good.

⚠️ IMPORTANT FENCE REQUIREMENT:
Sarah’s new home MUST have a VINYL PRIVACY FENCE.

This girl has some serious athletic ability and has shown us that she can scale wooden privacy fencing AND chain-link fencing. 😳 So for her safety, a vinyl privacy fence is a requirement — not a preference.

📍 Currently located in West Virginia
⏰ HOME NEEDED BY 10/15
🏡 Vinyl privacy fence REQUIRED

Sarah has already traveled across the country looking for her fresh start. We do not want her next move to be another temporary stop.

Please help us find Sarah her person.

Even if you can’t adopt, SHARE, SHARE, SHARE. Her home may be one share away. ❤️🐾

🎶 **KANE & LAINEY ARE STILL WAITING FOR THEIR NEXT BIG HIT… A FOREVER HOME!** 🎶

Some duos are just meant to stay together. ❤️

**Kane & Lainey** are 3-year-old littermates in **New Jersey**, and these two are a package deal. They are incredibly bonded, and we’re **not breaking up this band!** 🎤🐾

Kane & Laney need a home where **they can be the only two dogs**. No other canine bandmates needed — these two already have each other! ❤️

They come with a pretty impressive résumé:

🐾 Fully vetted
🏡 House trained
🦴 Crate trained
❤️ Incredibly bonded to one another
👫 Looking for a home together
🐶 **Must be the only two dogs in the home**

Through no fault of their own, changes in their family’s circumstances mean Kane & Laney need a new place to call home.

What they need now is someone willing to open their heart and home to **two Dobermans who already come with their best friend included.**

🎶 **Two Dobermans. One home. One happily-ever-after.** 🎶

📍 Located in New Jersey
❤️ Kane & Laney must stay together
🏡 Must be the only dogs in the home

Please **SHARE** — their forever family may be just one share away!

❤️ SHE MADE IT! SARAH IS SAFE — NOW SHE NEEDS HER FOREVER HOME! ❤️
📍 Currently fostered in West Virginia
Remember Sarah, the sweet Dobie girl who needed help making her way across the country?
SHE MADE IT! 🎉🐾
After being pulled from a shelter in California and making the long journey east, Sarah has officially arrived in West Virginia and is SAFE with her foster family! ❤️
So many people played a part in getting this girl to her soft landing, and now it's time for the most important part of Sarah's journey:
🏡 Finding her FOREVER HOME.
Sarah is estimated to be around 3 years old, and now that she's safely in foster, we'll have the chance to learn even more about her personality and what her perfect home looks like. We do know that she has a high prey drive, so no cats. She is spunky and playful so best with kids over 10.
What we already know is that Sarah is a sweet girl who has been through a LOT of change — and she has handled quite the journey to get here.
California ➡️ West Virginia ➡️ FOREVER? ❤️
That last destination is up to us!
Sarah doesn't need another temporary stop. She needs someone who will look at her and say, “Your traveling days are over. You're home.” 🥹❤️
🏡 Interested in making Sarah part of your family?
Apply to adopt at DVDPA.org.
🐾 PLEASE SHARE SARAH! So many people helped get her this far. Now let's finish what we started and find this beautiful girl the forever home waiting at the end of her journey. ❤️

Absolutely — then we should be very clear that Rogue needs to be the **only pet**, while keeping the fun “queen” theme.

# # # 👑 ROGUE HAS SPOKEN… SHE WANTS TO BE YOUR ONE & ONLY! 👑💙

📍 **Located in Pennsylvania**

Our beautiful blue girl **Rogue** has been spending time in foster, and we’ve learned exactly what she wants in her forever home:

**Her own people. Her own couch. Her own sunny spot. And NO four-legged roommates.** 😂👑

Rogue’s foster describes her as **wonderful, sweet, loving, and EASY**. She loves being with her people and **does great with kids 10+**. At approximately **65 pounds**, she’s also a petite Dobie girl with a whole lot of personality packed into that beautiful blue package. 💙

🐾 **ABOUT ROGUE:**
• 3-year-old blue female Doberman
• Approximately **65 lbs**
• Docked & cropped
• Up to date on vaccinations
• **Sweet, loving & affectionate** ❤️
• Described by her foster as **“wonderful and easy”**
• **Great with kids 10+**
• Loves to play
• LOVES sunbathing ☀️
• **Must be the only dog**
• **NO cats**
• 📍 Located in Pennsylvania

Rogue and the other dog in her foster home simply aren’t getting along, and we’ve realized this girl will be happiest when she **doesn’t have to share her kingdom.**

And really… **some girls just aren't looking for roommates.** 😂

If you’re a **one-pet household** looking for a sweet, affectionate Doberman who is already proving to be wonderful and easy in a home, **Rogue might be your girl.**

👑 **WHO HAS AN EMPTY CASTLE FOR OUR QUEEN?**

Apply to adopt Rogue at **DVDPA.org**.

💙 **Please SHARE!** Rogue’s perfect home doesn’t need another pet — **it just needs room for one very special girl.** 👑🐾
