Someone please consider opening their heart and home to this pretty old girl 😢❤️

Adopted 💕

Some stories are harder to write than others, and Gigi's is one of them.

Ten years ago, Gigi was adopted from our rescue and went on to spend a decade with the family she thought would be hers forever. Sadly, at 11½ years old, Gigi recently found herself back in our care after she was no longer wanted.

Despite all the changes and confusion, Gigi remains the same sweet, loving girl she's always been. She's gentle, walks beautifully on a leash, and has previously lived successfully with children, dogs, and even cats. She truly is an easygoing companion who simply enjoys being near her people.

What breaks our hearts most is watching Gigi wait. She looks for the family she believes is coming back for her, not understanding why she's suddenly in a kennel after spending so many years in a home. Through it all, she continues to be kind, affectionate, and trusting.

Gigi deserves so much more than a kennel in her senior years. She deserves a soft bed, a loving family, and the comfort of knowing she will never be left behind again.

We know senior dogs are often overlooked, but Gigi has so much love left to give. We hope someone will open their heart to this wonderful girl and help make her golden years the very best yet.

If you're looking for a loyal companion who still has plenty of love to share, please consider giving Gigi the second chance she so deeply deserves.

She will come spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and 4dx tested. She is also scheduled to get a dental evaluation and will receive the dental as the vet deems necessary.

Meet Sheilah, a gentle and sweet Bichon, 6½ years old and 13 lbs. She is ready to leave her past behind and find the loving home she deserves. Sheilah came to us from an Amish breeding farm along with several other small dogs. While she is understandably shy and timid, beneath her cautious exterior is a sensitive soul who wants nothing more than to feel safe and loved.

Sheilah allows all handling and has been nothing but sweet with everyone she meets, though new experiences are still be scary for her. At a busy adoption event, she showed just how affectionate she can be, spending her time cuddled up on volunteers' laps and soaking up the comfort of gentle snuggles.

Sheilah is looking for a patient, understanding family willing to help her continue building confidence at her own pace. A friendly, social, and outgoing dog in the home would be a wonderful role model and help show her that the world isn't such a scary place.

If you have a soft spot for the shy ones and are ready to help a deserving dog blossom, Sheilah may be the perfect addition to your family. With love, patience, and a little time, we know this sweet girl has so much happiness ahead of her.

She will come spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and 4dx tested. She also had a dental and is currently mostly toothless, though it does not cause her any difficulty eating.
