While Lisa is on vacation, Rip got to come out and get some work in. It was my pleasure running him. He is definitely missing his mom.

I have been working with Joan & Lilo for a couple months now on building confidence and over coming her fear of the tunnel. Her fear of the tunnel was very strong and took a lot of out of the box thinking & hard work to overcome. I’m happy to say Lilo showed huge strides last night in class and went to the tunnel even though Joan ask for her to perform the A-frame. We will most definitely take any independent tunnel performance as a win. Working correct discrimination performance is a challenge for another day.

Christine and Hamilton getting some work in the other night. If you can’t tell from his happy feet or his squeaking 😆, he really enjoys agility and working.

Christine and Gwen getting some work in the other night. We cherish every moment with Gwen and are happy to see her confidence returning to the agility field. She had a spinal stroke back in November of 2025 leaving her unable to use her left side. She still has intermittent motor function issues but she has come along ways in the last several months.

Then of course Mr. Practically Perfect himself aka Newt had to come out to play also. I probably should’ve put shoes on before running lol. But, hey if I can do it in flip flops then shoes should be easy right? Students wink wink 😆. Typical beautiful run by Newt. Again my timing was a bit off and slipping didn’t help but, I didn’t fall so that’s a plus.

You can’t do all this work on renovations and not play with your own dogs. So, Havoc & I came out to knock some rust off our distance skills this morning. If you ask him he would she’s perfect and there was no rust. Me in the other hand could use some practice on timing lol hinting at the few barks I received mid run.

We might still be renovating but, the training doesn’t stop. Cory and Rocker hard at work learning new skills on an elite level course. This is Cory’s 1st agility dog & they just started training January 2026. They are an outstanding team and it will be a blast to watch them continue to grow as a team.
