I know I have been MIA for a while but have the sweetest photos and the best news to share. My sweet grandson was born last month and many of you may recall “Buttercup” who is now “Poppy” and owns my daughter and her husband and is now the guardian of our new grandson. From the very start, from getting acclimated to baby boy’s blanket from when he was born (before he came home) Poppy has been very interested in him. She had about 3 days to get used to his blanket before his homecoming and ever since she has deemed herself his guardian. Wherever he is she wants to be there, if he cries or fusses she whimpers, if she can sleep as close as possible to him she will. Poppy is absolutely in love with him and I can’t wait to see how they continue to bond as he gets older.
