Luna is a former feral cat who showed up in our yard four years ago. She eventually became part of our family, but she only truly trusted one cat—her best friend, Willie.
Last May, Willie passed away. Luna was heartbroken.
Then, just a few months later, Henry the bunny showed up.
We like to think Willie sent Henry to take his place as Luna’s best friend.
What started as an unlikely friendship between a cat and a bunny has brought smiles to people all over the world. Through this page, we’ll share their adventures, their friendship, and the joy they bring to our lives.
Luna and Henry are outside free-range animals. Luna came to us as feral and after 4 years she is still very skittish. Henry isn’t our pet. He just showed up in our yard. He is tame and affectionate towards Luna but he is not tame towards us. We can’t pet him or pick him up. Luna and Henry come and go as they please. Henry visits Luna, in our yard, from time to time. He is not in our yard daily. Because we don’t see him everyday, we cherish the moments when we do see him!
