Meet Buckle, your future couch buddy! 🥹🩵

Buckle has been with us for over 150 days, and he’s been doing great in his foster home while enjoying some much needed time away from the shelter! This sweet, low energy guy loves neighborhood walks, cozy couch naps, and staying close to his favorite people. He’s a total velcro dog who just wants to give and receive love.

Could Buckle be your perfect match? Meet Buckle at our Main Shelter: 25 N 40th St, Phoenix, AZ.

Here’s what we can tell you about our mystery man:
🐾 Sweet with his people, but may need time to warm up.
🐾 Best with elementary-aged kids and older who understand he can be startled by sudden movements and loud noises.
🐾 Needs meet-and-greets with any potential dog siblings.
🐾 Once he trusts you, he’s ready to play!
Meet Tipton at our Main Shelter: 25 N 40th St, Phoenix, AZ.

Meet Bruno, a silly, energetic pup with a big heart and so much potential!

Bruno thrives with a little room to run, a playful companion, and fun training sessions to keep his mind busy. He’s already learning tricks like sit, paw, and circle, and he’s ready for a family who will help him grow into the amazing companion he’s meant to be.

Puppyhood is full of learning, and Bruno is looking for someone ready to be part of the journey. Could that be you?

Meet Bruno at our Main Shelter: 25 N 40th St, Phoenix, AZ.

Behind every wagging tail and healing paw, is a team that cares deeply. For Veterinary Technician Week, we’re celebrating our amazing vet techs who show up for our animals every day, through the tough moments, the long days, and all the little victories in between. From giving extra comfort to a nervous pup/cat to helping them feel better, the love they pour into their work makes a difference in so many lives.

Thank you to our amazing veterinary technicians for the compassion, dedication, and hard work you bring to AAWL. We couldn’t do this without you! 🩵🐾
