October on a horse farm is its own kind of thing.🐴

The leaves turn. The air gets that bite to it. The horses grow their coats out and start moving differently, slower in the mornings, more settled in the evenings.

There is something about this season that reminds you the farm has its own rhythm and you're just lucky enough to be part of it.

What does your favorite October farm morning look like? 🍂

Is more protein always better? Not necessarily.⁣
When it comes to pet nutrition, the healthiest meals aren't built around a single trend or maximizing just one ingredient—they’re built around balance.⁣
⁣
A truly complete diet relies on the right combination of nutrients working together in tandem to support your dog's overall wellbeing. 🐶✨

If you're running a mixed flock of chickens, ducks, or other poultry, fall is a good time to take a look at whether your current feed program is actually working for everyone in that yard. 🐔🦆

Different birds have genuinely different nutritional needs and what works well for one species can create gaps for another. Ducks, for example, need more niacin than chickens and can suffer without it over time.

As daylight drops and temperatures shift, nutritional demands change too. It's worth a quick conversation before winter sets in and problems are harder to spot. 🙌

October has a way of making you appreciate the full picture. The animals are doing well. The land is still producing. And somewhere in that rhythm is the reason people choose this life and keep choosing it, year after year. 🍂🐑

Here's to the shepherds and producers who take care of their animals and their land with the kind of quiet commitment that makes moments like this possible. 🙌
