As we mark 25 years, take a quiet moment to remember those who were lost, those who survived, and the countless families and heroes whose lives were forever changed. Say their names. Share a memory. Light a candle. Say a prayer. Or simply pause and remember.

But we also remember the heroes with four legs. Around 300 dogs worked the rubble at Ground Zero.
They searched for survivors.
They helped recover the lost.
They stayed close to exhausted workers, giving quiet comfort in ways only dogs can.

Across America, countless more dogs helped their grieving owners through the deepest pain. Offering love, kisses, and the soft presence of their companionship every single day.

Dogs never asked for praise. They just showed up with loyalty and light.

Dogs are truly amazing.
Honestly…we don’t deserve them.

Thank you to every rescue dog, therapy dog, and family dog who helped us heal in the days, months and years after that horrific day.

25 years later, we remember.
We honor.
We will never forget. 🇺🇸
