Ziva got a little extra support during her Home Depot training session today ❤️

My family ended up joining us, which gave her even more real-life distractions to work around while practicing her obedience. She did a great job staying focused, working through everything going on around her, and showing how quickly she’s catching on.

Definitely one of those training sessions that makes the day a little more special. 🐾

Ziva had her first training session at Home Depot! We practiced basic obedience throughout the store, including heel, sit, down, and stay around people, carts, noises, and other distractions. For being this early in her training, she did a great job staying focused and is catching on very quickly!

Please help us welcome Ziva! 🐾

Ziva is a one-year-old German Shepherd joining us for our two-week board-and-train program. During her stay, we’ll be working on pulling on the leash, jumping, chewing, and improving her overall house manners.

We’ll also build a stronger obedience foundation and teach her how to make better choices both at home and out in public. We’re excited to get started with this sweet girl!

From one end of the size spectrum to the other. 😂

Milo and Dolly teamed up for a training session at Arrowhead Mall, practicing obedience in a busy environment filled with people, noise, and distractions. Whether a dog is big or small, the expectations stay the same—stay focused, listen, and make good decisions no matter what’s going on around them.

They’re both coming along really well, and it’s been fun watching their confidence grow with every outing.

Late nights at Desert Ridge with Milo. 🌙🐾

Board & Train days don’t end when the sun starts to set. We start early to beat the Arizona heat, spend the hottest part of the day training indoors, and finish the evening with another session when the temperatures cool down.

You might not see every training session we put in, but I can promise one thing—these dogs are working every single day. Consistency is what builds reliable obedience, and that’s exactly what Milo is earning one session at a time.

Dolly practiced her off-leash obedience at Home Depot, working around carts, people, and plenty of distractions. She stayed close, listened well, and handled the environment better with every pass through the store.

Not bad for a little Yorkie. 🐾

Scottsdale Fashion Square is a great place to put obedience to the test. 🐾

With constant distractions, crowds of people, and a busy environment, Milo had the opportunity to practice staying calm, focused, and neutral while working through his obedience. Every new location helps build confidence and reinforces the behaviors he’ll need in everyday life.

He’s making great progress, and we’re excited to keep building on that foundation!
