Three Years of Waiting:

At just 8 years old, she had already spent three years wanting a ball python of her own.

Three years of asking questions.
Three years of researching.
Three years of learning what it really means to care for a reptile

With the right education, guidance, and preparation, her mom finally felt confident that she was ready. Today, she got to bring home her very first ball python.

CREATURE FEATURE:

Toad-headed agamas are small desert lizards with big heads. They live in hot, sandy areas of Central Asia and are super good at hiding by digging into the sand. When the ground gets too hot, they walk on tiptoes to cool off. They also sleep in the funniest ways — flat like a pancake, half-buried in sand, or with their tail over their head and legs all over the place.

Toad headed Agamas are definitely awesome animals that everyone needs at least one of!

Check out these amazing critters we’ve gotten into the shop! Here we try to keep variety, and what better way then to get a little bit of everything! From ball pythons and cresties to tegus and tortoises, we’ve got a little bit of it all! My personal favorite is the green keeled bellied lizard pictured making friends with my finger!
