I want to thank Ashley Woods from Rockin AW Creations for the beautiful trophy she made for the annual award I sponsor in memory of a special horse I showed as a youth. I know that “Cookie” means as much to Joanna as “Okie” did to me and this was the final time Cookie will be winning this award as she starts her transition to retirement or semi retirement. The highest point earning registered Paint or Pinto showing at KSHA shows that has placed under 3 judges at 3 different shows in all 3 paint/pinto classes (halter, english pleasure and western pleasure) in addition to one or more of the alternative classes (trail, reining, ranch, sidesaddle or western riding).

Mello got a certificate to add to her awards!!! She has 28 halter credits in the PAC program

Going to miss the natural light.. but I so will not miss the anxiety of hail storms ruining my skylights!!

In a DEEP class of 12.. Mello pulled a 9,8,9 for a 9th place over all. Every horse above her were true halter horses. She stood like a ROCK for over 15 minutes inside the ring. Used her ears for 95% of the class and I only had to reposition her once towards the end when everyone was fidgeting.. the Silver 9th never looked so good!!!! Thank you Joanna Hull-Tillman for braiding her long mane and being my groom this morning. Thanks Carol Hull for breakfast after the class. And thank you to everyone that cheered her on from home!!! I can’t wait to get these printed and hung next week at pinto world!!! And the cactus has started blooming!!!

We trotted and loped allot of circles today.. he’s fat and out of shape!! Took a stroll through the tree’s and Up and down the ditch a few times.. gotta get in shape and ready for Labor Day Ranch Horse Extravaganza & Futurity!!!
Bullet Proof Cat by Color Proof… no the back girth wasn’t loose when I was riding, I loosened it right after I stepped off.

This is Livs full sister!!! Pandora is lovely owned by Kimberly Dawn in Missouri.. I’m sooo proud of this team.. Kim says “ Her extended trot is to die for”❤️❤️❤️
