In recent years, cats have become the most common domestic animal infected with rabies because many cat owners do not vaccinate their cats, and cats can be exposed to rabid wildlife, either outdoors or when bats get into the house.

Sweet Pearl is one of those kind-hearted, quieter cats that just does her own thing, happy and content to just chill out on the cat tree or in a hidey hole. She isn't shy, but she is definitely not a show boat personality either.

Pearl is around 5 years old, and she had many litters before she came to us. She also had some pretty severe polyps in her ear that were causing her discomfort and pain. Thanks to Phillips Veterinary Clinic, she is currently polyp-free and feeling the best she has, likely in a very long time!

Pearl is also now spayed and will not have to give birth to litter after litter, depleting her system and wearing her down. Her immune system will have the chance to build and strengthen as she is fed a more nutritional diet and is not nursing kittens.

I'd say this lady is enjoying the freedom of just being a happy cat! She is now available for adoption and ready for the next phase of life, having a loving family. She does well with other cats and all people.
