Skoti almost didn’t get a second chance.
After a history of alleged mistreatment, isolation, and circumstances no dog should have to endure, Skoti found himself in a shelter with a bite history and an uncertain future. Euthanasia was a very real possibility.
But an entire community refused to give up on him.
Thanks to everyone who spoke up, shared his story, and fought for his life, along with the incredible efforts of Pinelands Unleashed Rescue Co., Skoti finally got his second chance.
He’s now safely in our care at South Jersey K9, where we’re beginning his journey toward a brighter future. His past won’t disappear overnight, but we’re committed to giving him the patience, structure, and opportunity he deserves.
And for every Skoti whose story is heard, there are countless others still waiting for someone to fight for them.
Join us at Neck of the Woods Brewery from 2–5 PM to raise a glass to Skoti’s second chance and celebrate the community that helped save him. Enjoy local brews, meet adoptable dogs, enter raffles, and support Pinelands Unleashed Rescue Co. so they can continue giving more dogs the chance Skoti received.
To everyone who advocated, donated, shared, or sent love Skoti’s way, THANK YOU. The support has been overwhelming, and we’re incredibly grateful. 💜
Skoti’s second chance is just the beginning. Let’s help create more. 🐾
