that offers horseback riding lessons and private horse boarding. We operate the historic Northwestern Equestrian Facility at the end of Forbidden Drive in beautiful Fairmount Park near the Chestnut Hill area. The facility is a Fairmount Park Property that is leased to Northwestern Stables, Inc. a 501c3 Non-Profit Organization. Our Mission:

1. To serve the community by welcoming people of all ages

, incomes, backgrounds and equestrian disciplines through providing affordable quality riding lessons, programs and boarding to the residents of the Philadelphia community and surrounding area.

2. To promote and maintain the equestrian heritage of the equestrian facility and Fairmount Park through the repair and beautification of the buildings and grounds.

Our first home IEA show went off without a hitch. Congrats to both Highschool and middle school teams for being high point team. Bella was high point Highschool rider and Autumn was reserve high point rider. Hazel was middle school reserve high point rider. Congrats to all of our riders today. We want to send a huge thank you to our own Julie for announcing and Karen for keeping score. Thank you to all of the parents who worked the food table. Thank you to Cat, Toni, Mary and Mackenzie for all of their work keeping the show moving. We wants to send the biggest thank you to our amazing horses. Marty was awarded horse of the show.

Today our sweet Otis crossed the rainbow bridge. He had a soul like no other horse, and carried everyone who rode him with care. We thank him for his time with us and wish him nothing but peace on the other side. ❤️

Hi all our Iea season is right around the corner. If your are in 4-12 grade you are welcome to be a part of the team. All riders must be able to walk trot. If you would like to know more please email us. If you have talked to Dana or Toni now is the time to register at rideiea.org. We will be having a team meeting Aug.21 at 6 pm.
