This sweet pup's journey is a perfect example of why access to spay/neuter matters. Before she could head home with her new family, she needed to be spayed. Thanks to our partner, The Rescue Train's Snip Ship in Los Angeles, she received the care she needed and was on her way to a bright future.

When pets can receive timely spay/neuter services, adopted animals get home faster, shelters can help more pets, and communities see fewer unwanted litters. Prevention works, and every surgery makes a difference.

While Philadelphia gears up to welcome the FIFA World Cup, we were throwing a party of our own at the Philadelphia Union's Subaru Park ⚽

Providence Animal Center was proud to bring this community celebration to the stadium, providing free spay/neuter surgeries for 30 cats, free vaccines, dog spay/neuter vouchers, pet supplies, giveaways, and resources for families and their pets.

Events like this are about so much more than veterinary care. They bring communities together, remove barriers to essential services, and help keep pets healthy, happy, and in the homes that love them. The energy, gratitude, and joy throughout the day truly made it feel like a celebration for both people and pets.
