Shannon is a mini pig trapped in a ....mini pigs body. She's about two years old. She's a former Momma dog, which we love because they are always the most affectionate loving dogs on the planet. She does great with other dogs. She is kid friendly but she's also kind of a bowling ball so she might knock them over. So dogs savvy kids would be best for her!

We’re at a critical point. Our funds are running dangerously low, but the dogs still need us to show up for them every single day.

Every rescue that comes through our doors depends on us for food, medical care, safety, and a chance at a better life. And while doggy smooches and wagging tails would be the best payment imaginable, the reality is that vet bills, medications, and supplies are piling up fast.

If we can’t catch up on expenses, we may be forced to close intake — and with summer approaching, that could mean saying no to dogs who desperately need help. That is something we are trying so hard to avoid.

Today, we’re asking our community to come together for Five Dollar Friday. Just $5 may not feel like much, but when enough people show up, it can literally keep our rescue going and keep these dogs safe, fed, and cared for.

Ziggy is the perfect blend of chill and fun. He's got an impressive ability to read the room - lounging on the couch during quiet evenings but always up for playtime when you're feeling active. This food-motivated guy loves people, forms quick bonds, and embodies the classic bully breed trait of wanting constant connection with his humans.

He can be an only dog or paired with a similarly-sized, energy-matched companion. Ziggy is clever, loyal, and incredibly adaptable.

Ziggy is potty trained and crate trained, settling easily after just a few minutes. No destructive chewing of furniture or household items but he does try to grab items off the counters or tables, so his future owner should be mindful. He's generally well-behaved on leash and currently lives with a small dog, however, would do better with a dog closer to his size. He has a deep bark that he uses briefly for alerts but settles quickly with redirection. Adopt Ziggy! kennel 16984

Barnaby was returned to the rescue due to NO fault of his own and now he has nowhere to go!! Barnaby is a little over a year old. He needs a home with a yard and no other pets.
