Philly Bully Team We are a 501c(3) foster-based bully breed rescue. Our mission is to rescue the most at-risk pitbull type dogs in Philadelphia, as well as southern, shelters.

We typically take on severe medical/neglect cases. We rehabilitate and then find forever homes!

Gizmo is the perfect mix of quirky, lovable, and smart. He’s playful, with adorable bursts of zoomie energy, but he’s equally happy curling up next to you for quiet snuggle time.

Gizmo is looking for a calm, low-traffic home where he can settle in at his own pace. He can be a little cautious with new people, especially men, and does best with slow introductions and people who respect his boundaries. Because of this, he’d be happiest in a home without small children. Gizmo did well meeting some cats and would likely do well in a home with them.

Gizmo is food motivated, which makes training and building trust with him fun and rewarding. He’s crate trained and learning basic commands. He has shown some resource-guarding behaviors, so he’ll do best with adopters who understand dog body language and are willing to continue helping him build positive habits through structure, consistency, and patience.

This little guy will make you laugh and form a deep bond with you over time.

Hera is an amazingly sweet girl who loves other dogs, cats and kids. She is crate and house trained. She enjoys zoomies in the yard just as much as lounging on a dog bed chewing on a toy. She has done amazingly well when introduced to new environments. Her entire body wiggles when she greets a friend (dog or human) and is submissive to new dogs.

One of the hardest parts of rescue is knowing that you're failing a dog, and we truly feel that we are failing Barnaby.

He needs a foster home asap.

He's great with people, including children. He's house and crate trained.

All he asks? Is that he's your only pet.

Fostering is free.

If you can't foster, PLEASE SHARE. There has to be a place for Barnaby in this world.

Shannon is a mini pig trapped in a ....mini pigs body. She's about two years old. She's a former Momma dog, which we love because they are always the most affectionate loving dogs on the planet. She does great with other dogs. She is kid friendly but she's also kind of a bowling ball so she might knock them over. So dogs savvy kids would be best for her!
