As we move into the warmer season, Green Street Rescue is seeking donations to continue caring for our cats! As a nonprofit organization, we solely rely on our community to help us support all of our adoptable cats, and help us rescue & care for cats in the future!

WHAT CAN I DONATE? We need anything from food, to litter, cleaning supplies, and of course, monetary donations! We happily take used items, as long as they are clean and/or unexpired!

HOW CAN I DONATE? Check out our LINKTREE in our bio for online wishlists, as well as links to our payment centers if you wish to send some kitty cash! We also happily take in-person drop off donations!

HOW ELSE CAN I SUPPORT? Come visit some of our adoptable kitties at Le Cat Cafe, help out by volunteering or fostering (and of course, adopting).

As a non-profit cat rescue, word of mouth is always the most helpful way to get the word out about our work! Sharing this post, following us on social media, and visiting us ultimately help all of our kitties find their FURRever homes!

"A gentle, curious boy desperate for affection."

Meet BEAUREGARD, this week's Foster Friday kitty! Beauregard is a sweet black & white boy that is both gentle and playful.

From his foster: "Beau is one of the most rewarding fosters we've had. When he first came to us, he immediately hid behind some books so he could peek out and scope the situation - but it only took a few hours for him to come out, flop into our laps, and demand belly rubs by grabbing our hands with his paws. As cautious as he is, he throws it to the wind the moment a wand toy comes out. Beau will never say no to playtime, and the moment he's done he'll happily curl up on your feet - or in your lap if he's feeling bold. Knowing how skittish he can be, it's the most rewarding thing.

Beau would do amazingly well with a friend! He has a ton of energy, and a friend will help him burn through it during the day. He can definitely be a solo cat, but we think he'd thrive with a companion."

ATTENTION!
Green Street Rescue will be on an indefinite intake hold of all rescue cats, as we are at maximum capacity. Our goal is to rescue as many cats off the streets of Philadelphia as we can. Unfortunately, we are currently low on foster homes, space and funds, so we must take a pause on intaking any new rescue requests.

If you or someone you know would be interested in fostering a cat, please feel free to fill out our Foster Application (https://www.greenstreetrescue.org/foster/). We are ESPECIALLY seeking people that can foster litters of kittens until they are old enough to be fully vetted and available for adoption.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to our team. As always, Le Cat Cafe is open to all guests to visit our adoptable kitties, and we'd love to continue finding FURever homes for our wonderful rescue kitties.
