Much like urgent care for humans, our urgent care visits are intended to provide wellness-based comprehensive care for pets with non-life-threatening injuries or illnesses that cannot wait for a regular veterinary appointment.

Urgent care visits do not need an appointment, though we encourage calling ahead to confirm availability: 610-421-9860. Due to the nature of urgent care, wait times may vary. When you check in for an urgent care visit, our care coordinators and veterinary team will quickly assess the situation and make sure your pet is not in any distress.

If your pet has serious trauma, collapsed, is unconscious, or has difficulty breathing, we recommend going to a veterinary emergency room!

Welcome, Amber! We are excited to introduce a great addition to our East Market Style team! Amber is accepting new clients. Read her bio below:

Amber has been working in the grooming industry for about fifteen years, five of those years as a district mentor and grooming trainer for a national chain. Professionally, her areas of interest include Asian Fusion techniques, curly-coated breeds, and she is a favorite among doodle pet parents! She looks forward to opportunities in competitive grooming, as well as continuing into more creative expressions of grooming.

Her patient nature and dog-first mentality make her a natural magnet for dogs with special needs or unique grooming challenges, allowing her to provide them with the care and comfort they deserve. In the past, she has worked with the Humane Society. During her time there, she developed a greater understanding of anxious pets. She currently provides pro-bono grooming services for a rescue organization that works with senior dogs who require extra care.

Her menagerie currently includes four dogs (Dobby, Norbert, Lucius, and Oliver), one domestic short-hair (Myrtle), four Sphynx cats (Cannoli, Mochi, Churro, and Eclair), a Lionhead rabbit (Toast), a crested gecko (Draco), a seventy-five gallon live-planted, community fish tank. She also has two children: a 16-year-old son and a 5-year-old daughter. When she isn't at the hockey rink with her kids, she enjoys gaming, fantasy novels, Dungeons and Dragons, house plants, and watching grooming videos. In typical South Philly fashion, she is an avid sports fan (her favorite player is unquestionably her son). Go Flyers!
