This one has been special. Last year before she was born, a young girl visited with her mom. This 14 year old wanted a Gypsy for her 15th birthday. They decided on which mare they liked and waited about 5 months for her birth. Of course in an in utero contract, there are no guarantees. She was hoping for a black and white filly. Fuzzy delivered exactly what she wanted. We are always meticulous about preparing our babies for their new family, but knowing her mama would be a 15 year old, made it especially important. I cannot tell you how excited I was to see this baby jump in the trailer with her girl to head home. The video I received when they arrived home is extra special. This filly walked right off the trailer with her new girl and acted like she had always lived there. I can't wait to see updates on the bond between these two.
